Once these techniques are yours, there is another way to play. Turn on "No-× Candle Mode" in Settings and met conditions no longer cross out cells for you. Every clue is still in plain sight, but keeping track of what is already settled is up to you — the same deduction, now testing how well you keep order. Clear a round in this mode from start to finish and it earns a 🕯️ candle (one per round; a hint rules it out). The trick: write each × the moment it is settled. Row 2 in the picture already has its two ghosts, so its other three cells must be ×. Keep them only in your head and you will redo the same reasoning later. In this mode, double-tapping a cell that should be × counts as a mistake. Candles have their own world rank, and rounds you have already solved can be played again to collect them.
