The clue cell splits the framed row into a blue room and a pink room. The row holds three ghosts in total. Blue has two cells, so at most two fit — meaning pink holds at least 3−2=1. Not exact, but at-least-one is real information. Thinking in min-max ranges per room turns long rows into simple subtraction.
